A whisper calls from mirrors cold and thin,
Distorting truth with every glance and stare.
It speaks of flaws, of battles fought within,
A voice that silences the love once there.
The plate untouched, the hunger waged as war,
A quiet prison built of fear and shame.
Yet in the heart, a voice begins to soar,
Reminding you, your worth is not a frame.
Each hollow echo cries for life anew,
For strength to shatter lies that hold you bound.
The beauty lies in all you say and do,
Not in the numbers or the pounds you’ve found.
So rise beyond the mirror’s cruel disguise,
And see your soul through love’s unclouded eyes.
